Topic: The 7 Words Teens Need to Hear
Description: Words matter. While actions are important, what we say and how we say it is powerful. Words can build up, but also break down. They can affirm, but also tear down and discourage. To have an impact on the lives of the adolescents we work with (middle schoolers, high schoolers or college students), we need to choose our words with care. And we don’t always realize which words are most powerful, whether negative or positive. In this session we’ll explore seven words (or expressions) teens need to hear from you.
