Bio: I am a Colorado Native, grown near Boulder. I love all things outdoors, and most things indoors too! I am a graduate of Colorado Christian University with a degree in Youth Ministry and am entering into my fifth year in youth ministry. Some things I have come to grow a passion for are winter camping, hiking, the Denver Broncos, and milkshakes. However, Youth Ministry is my ultimate passion and my life and I am so excited to see more and more youth workers rise up in excellence with a respect and passion for students. I can’t wait for the next twenty to thirty years in hands-on ministry and be able to train and equip a radical and revolutionary generation of youth workers after me. I strongly believe that the era of ‘maintaining a ministry’ is over and being replaced with an incredible movement-making mentality.
Session: Leading Leaders
Description: The reality for most of us in youth ministry now is that the field of our leadership is shifting from leading, mentoring and discipling students to leading leaders. Many of us will be in a context where we only have real touch points with a select few students. Aside from that, the leaders that we have alongside that will be our success in ministry. The session is designed to equip youth pastors with ideas on how to equip and honor their adult volunteers.
